SQL select from table where current result (or last result) is false, give specific ID for unique
Table :
I want to do a result like that :
ID | USERNAME | ACCESS
A lot of users has the same ID but different USERNAME.
So i’m trying to display only the last record of the user.
I did it like this :
select * from table where user=xxxxx order by acc
when acc=true then my result is :
A1 | yyyyyy
A2 | yyyyyy
A3 | zzzzzz
A4 | zzzzzz
So the last result is the A4 because it’s false then I want to choose the A4 result and display the USERNAME.
ID | USERNAME | ACCESS
A:
The simplest way to do this is just to order on ACCESS DESC, but if you need to do it within a single query you can use a correlated subquery:
select t.*
from table t
where t.user = xxxxx
and (
select min(t2.access)
from table t2
where t2.user = t.user
) is not null;
