Dermatitis is a disease that affects the epidermal and dermal tissues as well as other surrounding tissues and organs. The process of tissue inflammation must be tightly controlled to maintain the integrity of the epidermis. However, the present methods for elucidating the molecular mechanisms of inflammation in epidermal cells are limited. We established a novel cell culture model of epidermal hyperplasia using SKH-1 hairless mouse epidermal keratinocytes in culture and proposed a molecular mechanism for the induction of this phenotype. We also used this model to screen for anti-inflammatory proteins. C. albicans extract, which was known to induce dermatitis, upregulated the expression of transcription factors, such as steroidogenic factor 1 (SF-1) and cAMP-responsive element-binding protein (CREB), whereas an extract from Escherichia coli upregulated the expression of tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α). The transcription factor CREB and TNF-α were upregulated by human serum albumin (HSA) in this model. IOGraph’s interface is not as complete as Visio. Some of its abilities include a simple timeline and an option to turn off active mouse tracking during the tracking duration. It can also record and store mouse moves as soon as you switch applications.
The program doesn’t have a decent utility for converting mouse movements to paths. You can start with a blank canvas or open existing drawings, but the results aren’t as smooth as those in other applications.
IOGraph is free, but its software license is optional and requires a valid license key. Evaluation of the source code is still available.
